Our Legacy Project

On Tuesday 11 June 2013, we held an exhibition to showcase our learners work and to recruit new learners to our Legacy Project.   We also included a bring and buy sale of digital items to raise funds for the project. This was advertised by word of mouth, an advert in our village magazine and also on the Internet.

Below is an excerpt from our Legacy Project Leaflet

Unfortunately, we do not have the funding to run any more courses. Instead, we are offering new learners the opportunity to have 1 to 1 help from either a volunteer tutor or a previous learner at any of our regular drop in sessions.

Our drop in sessions are:

Tuesday 2 pm – 4 pm,         Tuesday 7 pm – 9 pm

Wednesday 10 am – 12 noon,      Friday 10 am – 12 noon

Clee Hill IT Centre will provide you with a

* copy of the participants pack software, * access to Ancestry’s online records,

* online handouts and video tutorials.

all free of charge.

We had recruited 1 legacy learner before the exhibition and recruited 7 more at the exhibition.  Our volunteer tutors are going to be busy.
